SINGAPORE, August 7, 2023 -- Kingful Ventures has made a private investment in eCOM Registry Pte. Ltd, an innovative fintech firm redefining the use of trusted non-traditional data to drive trade financing.

Andy Tung, Director of Kingful Ventures, expressed his excitement about the new partnership. "Many FinTech’s are only focused on streamlining existing trade finance processes, whereas eCOM Registry appears to be the only company focused on using 'Trade and Logistics shipment data' as the basis for trade finance. Their market strategy involves working within the container shipping industry to offer data-driven financing to the many logistics service providers and shippers that constitute the ocean terminal community—a strategy that can be easily replicated in global markets."

Horace Mak, CEO of eCOM Registry, echoed Tung's enthusiasm. "We are delighted to have Kingful Ventures onboard as our strategic investor," Mak said. "Andy shares our ambition to shape the future of data-driven financing. His wealth of experience, family credibility, and broad business network will undoubtedly help us achieve our strategic objectives and deliver more value to our clients. We are excited about the journey ahead and the possibilities this partnership opens up."

Kingful Ventures' investment into eCOM Registry will allow them to develop credit financing risk models that can help lenders automate the risk analysis process and offer pre-approved financing to a large community of borrowers.
